Key Responsibilities

• Investment management principles- Implement a rolling plan framework for resource management by developing standard principles, confirming requirement per project category, consolidation, approval and monitoring (short, medium and long term). Implement a benefits realization framework.
• Resource operational management (resource demand) - Alignment of portfolio plans with demand, development of resource pools, implement optimization principles. Implement, manage and monitor contracts for provision of resources
• Integrated risk management and performance reporting - Implement a performance management governance model (principles, policies, procedures, systems, tools, auditing, reporting), monitor monthly progress against business and portfolio plans, management of contracts and SLA’s,  evaluate productivity in terms of business ratio’s at portfolio level, compact management and alignment with portfolio plan.
• Contracts Management – Administration of NEC contracts, Maintaining contract control mechanism to manage contracts in terms of time, scope and costs, monitoring payments 
• Implement an auditing function with the principles of compliance, corrective actions and continuous monitoring. Functional areas for auditing include resource management, performance management, programme management, contract management, change control etc.
• Accountable for the implementation of Integration Management principle, tools and techniques
• Project cost accounting support- Develop, implement and monitor resource cost governance model and budgeting process as it relates to resourcing. Development and implementation of resource efficiency ratios from historical data focussing on unit cost measures and overhead pool efficiencies
• Project management and governance support - Implement standardized policies and procedures to support Portfolio Management, communicate and ensure development and implementation of training for Project Support Services, development and implementation of mentorship and coaching, promote the development of multi-disciplinary and collaborative teams.
• Implement the development of data management governance and principles for reporting systems and historical databases. 
• Project scheduling support: Manage alignment between project schedules, cost and resource requirements for programme and portfolio.
