Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):  

B Degree in Commerce/ Law/ Engineering, Business Management at NQF level 7 with 360 credits or a
B. Tech in Commerce/ Law/ Engineering, Business Management at NQF level 7 with 360 credits.

Experience:

10 years’ experience in a management and senior professional capacity in local development programmes or local government.
Procurement and Supply chain management.
Interfacing at management level with external and internal stakeholders on for enterprise supplier development, industrialization, localization, skill development.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the performance of the strategy and planning function as well as the accuracy of the output and provide regular feedback on the performance to the procurement and supplier chain management.
Directs the development of new and existing suppliers.
Directs the interpretation of government policy, objectives and formulates Eskom’s local development policies, processes, strategies, and targets.
Ensures the strategic segmentation of the suppliers in line with local development objectives.
Lead the research and implementation of local development best practices.
Advise on the strategies to address the national scare skills.
Establishes and maintains formal interfaces and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Directs resources management for the strategy and planning function.
